After lunch with my friends I decided that I needed some alone time, so I took a slow walk down Orchard Road and trying to find interesting things on a hot Saturday afternoon.
Imagine my surprise when I saw treasures on those dustbins that gave new meaning to the phrase "One man's trash is another man's treasure".
Smoking really brings you closer to the edge doesn't it?
Mother's Day is tomorrow - I wonder who threw this away really. I didn't even have to arrange anything it just looked so desolate there, and it reminded me of the unfortunate incident in the SAF yesterday and the life lost...It still is my favourite shot of the series though.

Our President shows up to lend his weight to the local busking scene.

Saw this publicity event where they played Bollywood music and many kids danced to it.

Another of those enthusiastic kids who looked like they were really enjoying themselves... I suspect they had been dancing for the whole day already, many proud parents were armed with their cameras and camcorders recording their children's moment of glory.
It had been a while since I went out by myself - just my camera and me, so I guess I'm glad I got some shots that I liked.
