Open House 2012 - Occupy Tiong Bahru

Last Sunday, I went for the Open House 2012 like I did last year, and I entered one of the houses which had this dazzling array of kuehs.

I managed to talk to the owner Mr. Stephen Black and he briefly shared with us his passion for kuehs.

So I took a few shots and sent it to him, and he liked it, so I thought I'd just share it with you guys as well!

All handmade! Wow.

Anyway, I really had a lot of fun at the Open Houses - Tiong Bahru this year was such a rustic place and actually I had a lot more fun as compared to Marine Parade last year, so keep your heads up for Open House 2013!

The Royal Portrait

Recently, my friend was telling me about how her family went for this family portrait session that some families like to do on a regular basis, or every time there is a special occasion.

I had a Chinese New Year gathering with some of my friends and I felt quite bored, so I suddenly came up with this idea to do a family portrait using poker cards.

I am acutely aware that I have not updated this place for quite some time now, and even my backlog of travel photos are staring at me, but right now I really am very busy and usually too tired to do anything about it, so I will keep this place running with short posts here and there!
