It is located at Yong Siak Street, and you should see this when you walk in from the Kim Tian Road side.
I'm not too sure whether I am actually allowed to take photos inside the store but the atmosphere and decor was so awesome I couldn't resist, and I hope I don't have to take down these photos. I took great care to avoid all the staff and book titles in general so hopefully there will not be any issues.
Loved the way the whole store is chunked full of bookshelves that are full of books, and it's so much cleaner and cosier compared to Bras Basah. I guess that's what you're paying for when you compare the prices (of the new books I mean).
Anyway, I took a book and went to a corner of the store to browse, and it was only 15 minutes later that I discovered a cat sleeping soundly right next to where I was seated. Imagine my surprise, and the cuteness overload I got subsequently.
Anyway for those who have not visited it before, please feel free to check it out, along with the huge amount of delicious food in that area. You might find the books a bit overpriced, but they stock many local authors and have a store-wide 20% off for 3 books discount.
